Week 12 Reading A: Beowolf Unit

This week, I am reading the Beowolf unit. I chose this unit because I have definitely heard of Beowolf before but I have never taken the time to read about it. I am not sure what I anticipated, but the actual story of Beowolf is much different than I thought it would be. There is a lot more battle and nomad-themes happening. I think the contrast between this story and the native american stories we read last week are is so interesting. Just the way the stories are written contrast starkly. I am not exactly sure what I could write about this week quite yet but I do think that there is a lot that has gone on before Beowolf that could be an interesting read.
