Week 15: Reading A Anderson Fairy Tales Unit

This weekend I decided to read about the Anderson Fairy Tales. The first readings of this unit are short stories. Some of them are familiar, such as the Princess and the Pea, and some are less familiar, such as The Wicked Prince. I think the familiar ones are really interesting to me because as a society, we have skewed so many of the old stories from these times and change them to modernize them. I think a cool story writing challenge for me this week could be taking a story such as Princes and the Pea and changing it so that it is modern and new.
